Elyse Eenigenburg
2024 Cherry Blossom Princess Delegate
"As a member of Senator Schmitt’s team, I have the privilege of working hard for Missourians every day. Since high school, I’ve been fascinated by history and politics and am still pinching myself that I get to work on the Hill. I’m a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, where I studied political science and legal studies. Washington, D.C., has been a stunning backdrop for navigating post-grad life, and I’m excited for all the opportunities it has to offer — including participating in the Cherry Blossom Princess Program, a tradition so unique to the region!"

2022 Cherry Blossom Princess Delegate
"When I applied to represent Missouri as a 2022 Cherry Blossom Princess, I had no idea what an impact the program would make on me. I’ve met friends to last a lifetime - from all walks of life. Together, we empowered one another to be better leaders. I’ve never been around such a strong group of women, and I consider myself blessed to have had the opportunity to meet them and learn alongside them. I would strongly encourage any young woman to apply."
